Tuesday  January 12th, the worst earthquake in 200 years - 7.0 in magnitude - struck less than ten miles from the Caribbean city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The initial quake was later followed by twelve aftershocks. Structures of all kinds were damaged or collapsed, from shantytown homes to national landmarks. Within days of this earthquake, Sovereign Grace Ministries was asking everyone to get involved by raising funds to help our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster.

For two weeks after, Crossway took special offerings for Haitian relief but felt we needed to do more. In response to this desire, we hosted the "Help Haiti Benefit Auction" on February 19th, 2010. Close to one hundred lots produced close to nine thousand dollars which has gone directly to those on the ground in Haiti.
