Sunday April 11th, Crossway had the pleasuring of welcoming Dr. John Piper. Due to the size of the event, our Sunday morning service was hosted at the Trinity Western University gymnasium and auditorium. An army of volunteers served heroically as we welcomed nearly fifteen hundreds folks.

Tuesday  January 12th, the worst earthquake in 200 years - 7.0 in magnitude - struck less than ten miles from the Caribbean city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The initial quake was later followed by twelve aftershocks. Structures of all kinds were damaged or collapsed, from shantytown homes to national landmarks. Within days of this earthquake, Sovereign Grace Ministries was asking everyone to get involved by raising funds to help our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster.

Each year, Crossway hosts a Party in the Park. These events are a definate highlight in our church calendar as we enjoy a great time of food, fun and fellowship. These events are also a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to enjoy this time together.

For the past several years, Crossway has participated in the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program. The program has grown substantially as has our participation. This past Christmas, 2009, Crossway was able to collect van loads of food provided by our Care Groups, as well as provide our largest financial contribution to date, over two thousand dollars.
